1. How does water enter plants?
Water enters and leaves cells through osmosis, the passive diffusion of water across a membrane. In plants, water always moves from an area of higher water potential to an area of lower water potential. ... Most of the water that a plant takes in enters through the root hairs.
2. How does water enter and exit a plant
1-Water is passively transported into the roots and then into the xylem. 2-The forces of cohesion and adhesion cause the water molecules to form a column in the xylem. 3- Water moves from the xylem into the mesophyll cells, evaporates from their surfaces, and leaves the plant by diffusion through the stomata.
3. Where does water enter a plant?
In the Roots.
Ty for reading my blog!! I'll Make the same thing but blog 2 on it :D Bye Bloggers :)
Kia ora Amina. Ka pai, there's lots of good information here about plants. There are also lots of complex words like passively and diffusion. I wonder if you could add a glossary to explain what these words mean? Or could you create something like an animation to show people how this works?
